Dive trips designed for people who actually want to dive

No resorts, no posing, just real diving

We’re not a travel agency. We design dive trips the
way we’d want to travel ourselves

The Ocean Explorers comes from many dives, many trips, and many conversations after getting out of the
water. We know what makes a trip flow and we also know exactly where things tend to go wrong.

That’s why we don’t sell packages or put random people together. We design well-thought-out dive trips, with
clear criteria, a good pace, and real presence before, during and after the trip.

Trips designed with care

The idea is simple: when the plan is solid and the details are sorted, the days feel easier and you can focus on what you came for diving, resting between dives, and enjoying where you are.

Small groups that actually fit

We travel with a small number of people who share a similar attitude: respect for the ocean, a genuine willingness to share the experience, and good humour both in and out of the water.

Real, hands-on support

We’re there before, during and after the trip. In the water, on land and behind the logistics, so you can focus on what you came for: diving and enjoying the experience.

The Way We Travel

A dive trip isn’t just about the dives

IIt’s everything that happens in and out of the water

The time on the boat, the chats between dives, the rhythm of the days and the people you share them with.

When the plan is solid, everything feels easier. Dives work, surface intervals turn into long conversations, and suddenly no one cares what time it is.

It’s not about packing everything in or chasing perfect conditions. It’s about having a plan good enough that you don’t have to think about it, and enough slack to let the sea, the group and the day decide the rest.

Our way of making travel actually easy

No agencies, no middlemen and everything clear from the start.

You’ll always know what you’re paying, who it goes to, and why. We only charge for what we actually do: designing the trip, being there, and making sure everything runs smooth.

(Yep, like a casting)

We look for places with solid diving: loads of marine life, trusted dive centers, and people who respect the ocean.

Whether you’ve got 10 dives or 100 doesn’t really matter. What matters is your vibe: good energy, curiosity, and no fear of the briefing.

We build groups that just click. By attitude. By energy. And by how hard they laugh underwater.

As soon as your spot is confirmed, we start a private WhatsApp group for the trip.

That’s where questions get answered, stories start popping up, and we slowly begin to warm up as a group.

People share old dive photos, ask about gear, drop travel tips and, sooner or later, someone sends the first
shark video. Always happens.

By the time we meet at the airport, we’re not strangers anymore. We already know names, faces, and
who’s most excited about the dives.

So when the trip starts, it doesn’t really feel like the beginning. It feels like we’re just continuing a
conversation that started days (or weeks) earlier.

We travel with the group, not from a distance. That means early mornings, long surface intervals, late dinners and all the in-between stuff. We’re there for the dives, the conversations and everything that happens around them.

We keep an eye on the details, the timings and whatever pops up, so the days flow without drama or unnecessary rushing. Things don’t always go exactly as planned, but when someone is paying attention, that’s not a problem.

That way, your head stays where it should be: in the water, on the boat, and in those moments after a dive when you’re comparing photos or laughing about a funny encounter with a wrasse.

When things are well taken care of, the trip feels easy. And that’s exactly how we like it.

We’re Alessandra and Cruz

Two divers creating the kind of trips we’ve always wanted to go on

No luxury promises. No inspirational speeches. Just the real stuff.

After years working in the dive world (and sneaking off to dive whenever we could), one thing became pretty clear: what we were missing were trips built from the inside. By divers, for divers.

That’s how The Ocean Explorers started. A small and honest project with a simple idea: good seas, small groups, and trips that just flow without forcing anything.

We like being there with you, in and out of the water. Sharing what we know, taking care of the details, and making sure the experience feels easy, fun and real from start to finish.

Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this:
the ocean brings people together, teaches you
things, and keeps you grounded. Usually with a smile behind the regulator.

So… where do we go from here?

This is where all of this turns intoan actual trip

If you like the way we think about diving, travel and group dynamics, the next step is simple. Take a look at
the trips we’re working on and see if one of them fits what you’re looking for right now.

Still wondering if this is for you?

That’s normal. These trips aren’t something you book on impulse, and they’re not meant to fit everyone.

If you like the way we think, the way we travel and the kind of groups we build, the next step doesn’t have to be a decision. It can just be a conversation. We talk, you ask whatever you need, and we see calmly if one of the trips actually makes sense for you.

No pressure. No scripts. Just two sides making sure it’s a good match.
