⏱️Epic diving + downtime + local life

Looking for luxury, crowds, or perfect selfies? This isn’t it. But if what you want is salt, thrill, and something honest … read on.

All those questions spinning in your head before deciding…

Is Maldives really that amazing?

You won’t get it… until you’re underwater. Tiger sharks, manta rays, turtles, and life coming at you fast. We’ve done over 3,000 dives… and still come up saying “wow.”

Will I fit in with the group?

We’re a small crew, all on the same page. Just regular people who love the ocean, want to dive, share, enjoy, and keep it real.

What if it ends up being just another trip?

This isn’t a retreat or a promise to change your life. But sometimes, all it takes is a laugh on the boat, a random chat, or a surreal moment underwater to make you think: “Yep… this is why I came.”

What if something goes off track?

The sea can be unpredictable, but this trip is built with care. If something goes wrong, we fix it. And if it’s out of our hands… we adapt, stay calm, and keep enjoying.

Will I be good enough? Brave enough?

Nobody’s counting logbooks or testing courage. Everything’s built to enjoy… no pressure. And if you skip a dive one day, that’s okay too.

Is it all about diving?

Mostly, yes. But you’ll also feel the rhythm of local islands, connect with real life, and have time to soak it all in.

And the logistics?

Sorted. Transfers, gear, stays… all covered. You just show up, breathe and dive.

Is it worth the price?

It’s not cheap… but it’s not just any trip. You’re paying for stress-free diving and a team that makes everything flow.

Maldives, for real

And yes, it’s the Maldives. But not the one you see in the
postcards.

You climb aboard, gear still soaked, someone throws a “did you see that?”
across the deck, and the smiles stick around till the next dive.

Pure after-dive

The magic of Maldives?… It’s underwater

With a touch of wonder topside too

Rasdhoo: diving right in

Grey sharks on patrol, turtles in no rush, moray eels the size of sofas, nosy napoleons, mantas gliding like ghosts, and eagle rays passing through like they run the reef. It all happens at once.

A reef bursting with life: you won’t know whether to point, laugh… or freeze in pure awe.

Fuvahmulah: when the ocean tests you

Hammerheads appearing from the blue, mellow threshers, mantas, turtles… and you, not knowing whether to look ahead, down, or spin around just in case something else shows up.

These dives are raw and demanding. They push you yes… but leave you feeling powerful, breathless, and fully awake inside.

Tiger shark: when it’s no longer just a video

You’ve watched it on screens. Countless times. But up close,a few meters away, no cage, no glass, no zoom… it hits different.

Wild. Respectful. Absolutely mind-blowing.

Sandbank and snorkel: time to slow down

A stretch of sand floating in turquoise waters. Just ocean, sky… and the pull to jump in.

A laid-back snorkel that’s unexpectedly full of life. You surface at sunset, not knowing whether to dry
off… or clap.

Freediving with sharks (optional): a whole new way to be underwater

If you’re up for something different, Fuvahmulah offers it. No tank, no noise. Just you, the blue, and tiger sharks cruising calmly around.

It’s not about holding your breath longer than anyone… it’s about feeling it in a new way. It’s not for everyone, but those who do it say it’s unforgettable.

Beach dinner & Maldivian dance: the perfect closing

Sand under your feet, salty breeze still in the air, and the sound of drums getting closer.

This isn’t a show… it’s living culture. A quiet, shared way to end the trip just right.

This is the Maldives… unfiltered. Wild diving, solid crew, and stories you’ll be telling more than once. Honestly, what else do you need?

All those questions spinning in your head before deciding…

No need for us to tell you, they’ve already been there.

They’ve dived with tiger sharks, shared rides, and raised a glass at sunset with strangers who became something more.

They know the feeling: locking eyes with a tiger shark below, and sharing unfiltered laughter above. This is what they say when they return.

Word for word. As they lived it.

A route you feel both underwater and above.

This isn’t just about racking up dives.

It’s a journey designed for divers craving something deeper: two islands, two paces, and a trip that flows from first splash to final sunset.

Days 1 to 5 · Rasdhoo

Starting strong, keeping it light.

We land in Malé and before you know it, we’re already heading to Rasdhoo. That first dive shakes off the nerves and drops you right into the adventure.

Seven dives through reefs teeming with life, with currents that spark your fins to life. Grey sharks, cruising turtles, gliding mantas…
more action than you can take in.

In between? Dreamlike sandbanks, laid-back snorkeling, and unhurried island time to settle
into the rhythm.

Days 6 to 10 · Fuvahmulah

This is where it levels up.

We move islands and enter a whole new rhythm.

The dives go deeper, the blues run wilder, and the encounters stay with you. Hammerheads, thresher sharks, mantas… and the main event: the tiger shark. No cages. No show. Just us and the ocean.

On land? Local culture, freediving for the curious, and a beachside dinner that wraps the journey the
way it deserves.

Who’s guiding this journey

I’m Cruz.

Diver, copywriter, and ocean addict since the first time I slipped on a pair of fins.

My love for the Maldives started on a liveaboard… and I’ve been drawn back ever since.

The last time was with our very first group to Rasdhoo and Fuvahmulah. One mission: dive with tiger sharks and share that moment with people who get it.

This project is something I build alongside Alessandra.

We take turns leading each group — and this time, I’m the one going.

I’ll be with you throughout: in the water, on land, and behind the scenes, making sure the dives flow, the logistics click, and the energy feels just right.

It may not change your life. But it’ll be honest, powerful, and real in every way.

What it takes to travel by our side

Trust starts here

No filters. No inflated promises.

If we don’t know something, we’ll tell you. If something gets tricky, we’ll handle it.

And if it’s out of our hands, we’ll adapt — together.

Open mind, zero drama

This trip isn’t rigid or overplanned.

Some days everything runs smoothly, others you adapt along the way.

What matters is keeping it light, laughing when things shift, and enjoying the experience instead of fighting it.

Respect: for the ocean, for the
group… and for you

We’re not chasing records or cramming logbooks.

We dive with care, protect the sea, and savor
every dive.

A real will to share

You’re not just here to dive.

You’re here to connect, to listen, and to be part of a small group where everything flows naturally and honestly.

Real diving, good people… and moments you’ll never forget

This is about diving that stays with you, the kind you feel, share, and remember.

Not only for what you see underwater, but for the faces lighting up when something special happ down there. For the laughs when someone tangles the buoy again, and that noisy moment aft dive when everyone talks at once, laughing, buzzing, and trying to tell their version of what happened.

We dive with trusted local centres and instructors who genuinely care. People who know the r
well and look after you beyond the briefing.

You dive safely, you learn along the way, and you feel supported from the very first minute, ab and below the surface, so you can focus on the dive itself.

And that’s when diving turns into this: surfacing with your heart racing and sharing that feeling w the people right next to you.

Here’s what’s included (and what isn’t)

We want you to know exactly what you’re paying for and what you’re getting. No weird surprises. Just a well-crafted trip designed for you to enjoy from start to finish.

Understanding how this Maldives trip works

Clear structure, clear numbers, and no surprises along the way.

In this section, we explain how the trip is organised, what you’re paying for, and why this model keeps everything simple, fair, and under control.

Use the tabs below to see how each part fits together.

We don’t work like a traditional travel agency. That’s why we don’t sell bundled travel packages with everything mixed into one single price.

Instead, we do something much simpler and more transparent. We charge you only for the real value of our work: designing the trip, guiding the process, and supporting you before, during, and after the journey.

You stay in full control of your travel budget.

Let us explain it clearly.

This trip is built in three parts:

  1. Our service
    • This is what you pay us for. Trip design, advice, coordination, and full support throughout the process. It’s the part that turns an idea into a well-designed, well-supported experience.
  2. The trip budget
    • This covers all the local services that make the trip possible: accommodation, diving, transfers, activities.
    • You pay these directly to the local providers, with our step-by-step guidance.
  3. Flights
    • The most variable part of the cost. You book them directly, with our help, so you keep full control over timing, routes, and budget.
    • This setup ensures your money goes exactly where it should: supporting the quality of the trip and the local people who make it happen, without intermediaries.

Why we work this way

We want you to be an active part of the trip, not just someone who shows up at the airport. That’s why, in the months before departure, we stay in close contact.

We create groups early, talk regularly, answer questions, and start building the connection that makes the trip feel right before it even begins.

This does two important things:

  • First, it creates a real group dynamic before the journey starts. That shared excitement and trus makes a huge difference once we’re on the road and in the water.
  • Second, it allows each participant to make some bookings directly, with our support, withou money passing through us.

With our help, you’ll take care of a few reservations from home, like flights or local bookings that need to be secured in advance

It doesn’t take much time, and it’s actually part of the fun. A good excuse to stay in touch, ask questions, and start living the trip together.

We guide you through every step, double-check everything, and once it’s done, you can relax knowing the foundations are solid.

From there on, the focus shifts to what really matters: enjoying the experience, the diving, and the
people you’re sharing it with.

Before moving on, we strongly recommend reading the following sections carefully: Our service, Trip budget, Flights, and What we’re not.

They’re important.

The part you pay us covers three core elements. Together, they’re what turn this trip into something you won’t find anywhere else. Not a copy of a copy.

Not a trip you could easily recreate on your own.

1. Thoughtful trip design, built from real experience

To make any trip happen, there’s always a base layer: coordinating transport, working with local providers, choosing places to stay. That’s the minimum.

What you pay us for goes further than logistics. You’re paying for a route designed with intention, experience,
and balance.

We combine iconic dive sites with less obvious places, structured days with space for spontaneity, and strong dives with the right amount of rest.

Everything is planned so the trip flows naturally, without feeling rushed or over-organised.

We only run journeys we genuinely want to live ourselves. That’s how the experience stays fresh, motivating, and truly special.

2. A small group that actually works

The group is a big part of the experience. That’s why not everyone joins.

Before confirming your spot, we talk. We want to understand what you’re looking for and make sure the trip, and the group, are a good fit.

We look for open-minded people who enjoy sharing, collaborating, and diving without drama. That small filter makes a huge difference once we’re together.

The result is a group that feels aligned, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable to travel with. Dives are better. Meals are better. The whole experience feels lighter.

3. Real value before and during the trip

For us, the trip starts months before departure. In the weeks leading up to the journey, we stay in close contact through a WhatsApp group and video calls.

We help with flights, insurance, gear, packing, and any questions that come up along the way.

We break the ice early, get to know each other, and build a group that already feels connected before arriving at the airport.

This does two things:

  • You arrive calm, prepared, and confident.
  • You arrive as part of a group, not a collection of strangers.

During the trip, we’re there with you. Diving together, checking briefings, solving issues, and supporting both the technical and human side of the experience.

If something needs attention, we handle it. So you can relax, dive well, and enjoy what’s happening around you. That’s the value of traveling with us.

Our service fee

This is the part we invoice directly.

  • Initial deposit: 350 €. Paid when you decide to join the trip.
  • Second payment: 350 €
  • Paid once the minimum group is confirmed.

This completes the total fee for trip design, advice, organisation, and full accompaniment.

Once your initial payment is confirmed, we get in touch straight away to welcome you and start preparing the journey together.

This part of the cost covers everything that makes the Maldives experience possible. You pay it directly to the local providers, with our step-by-step guidance. You know what you’re paying, who you’re paying and why.

What’s included in the trip budget?

  • Local guesthouses in Rasdhoo and Fuvahmulah.
  • Fourteen dives total: seven in each island with trusted local dive centers.
  • Internal transfers including speedboat and domestic flight between islands.
  • Included activities like sandbank tour, snorkel and beach dinner with boduberu music.
  • Local taxes and fees.

Everything’s lined up to keep the trip flowing smoothly.

How it works?

Once the group is confirmed:

  • We give you all contacts, links and deadlines.
  • We walk you through each booking step.
  • We double check everything before any payment is made.
  • You stay in control of your budget. We make sure it all fits together.

What’s not included and is paid locally during the trip:

  • Your dinners, freely chosen and typically around 15 to 20 € per person.
  • Optional dive upgrades such as nitrox in Rasdhoo, freediving with sharks, extra dives or addon tours.
  • Some experiences like the sandbank tour or the scooter tour in Fuvahmulah are also paid
  • directly on site.

We’re not a big group trip or something for everyone

Our groups are small and intentionally formed so the vibe stays warm, relaxed and human.

We’re not just guides who drop you off and disappear

We dive with you, stay present and help with whatever’s needed, in and out of the water. We’re not winging it or leaving things to chance. We’re with you from the first call to the last day so you can just focus on enjoying

We don’t run mass-produced trips

Every route is built from scratch and only happens if we’re genuinely excited to live it ourselves

And yes… we’re not for everyone

That’s exactly the point. This trip is for people who love the ocean, appreciate nature and want real connection

For those who aren’t there to pretend … but to meet a tiger shark face to face, climb back on the boat smiling and feel that every single dive was worth it

Do you have questions about the Maldives dive trip?

Here we answer them clearly.

Yes. In fact most people come alone.

We don’t do forced group activities or strict schedules. Just a small group, good energy and real desire to share diving and travel.

Yes. This experience is only for certified divers.

If you’re not certified yet, we can help you find other trips or get certified before. We prefer groups ready to enjoy diving safely and calmly.

The minimum recommended level is Advanced Open Water.

If you don’t have it yet you can do it during the trip. Advanced course in Rasdhoo can be integrated into your first five dives. Supplement 200 USD.

Diving in Rasdhoo is progressive and great for building confidence.

In Fuvahmulah the level rises with open blue water, big encounters and more challenge. You don’t need to be an instructor, but you should feel comfortable underwater.

No worries. Nobody arrives alone… and nobody leaves alone.

You share the boat, the dives, meals and lots of time outside the water. It’s normal to end the trip feeling that the group was a key part of the experience.

Then let’s be honest. We dive in areas where encounters with sharks including tiger sharks are common and sought after.

Always with expert guides, clear protocols and absolute respect for the animals.

But if the idea scares you more than excites you, this trip is probably not for you. And it’s okay to say that.

After we confirm the group. We let you know with plenty of time, help you find the best option from your city and review times and layovers with you.

That way you book calmly and avoid confusion.

Each traveler buys their own flight, but you are not alone. We guide you through the whole process so you choose well and travel with ease.

We recommend comparing on Skyscanner and always booking directly on the airline website.

Yes.

First you make a deposit and the rest when the group is confirmed.

We manage it with you without rush or impossible deadlines.

You have fourteen days from the deposit payment to request a refund as long as the group is not confirmed.

Even so we recommend taking cancellation insurance from the start. It is the easiest way to cover unforeseen events without stress.

Yes, depending on availability with a supplement. If you know you want one, tell us as soon as possible and we will arrange it.

No, on local islands alcohol is not sold. And it’s fine.

After diving a fresh fruit shake or a cold drink works just as well to celebrate.

Yes. The Maldives is a safe destination.

We travel to quiet islands with trusted local providers and common sense. We advise you at every moment.

Yes.

Fuvahmulah has a hyperbaric chamber.

Rasdhoo has quick access to a chamber in the nearby island of Kuramathi (less than one kilometer away).

Both islands have medical centers for emergencies. Safety is covered and we travel with clear protocols.

Very simple but important:

  • Passport with at least six months validity from date of departure.
  • Free tourist visa of thirty days on arrival for Spaniards and most nationalities by showing:
  • Return ticket within thirty days
  • Confirmed accommodation or proof of funds
  • Mandatory online “Traveller Declaration” form up to ninety six hours before travel.
  • Yellow fever vaccine only if you come from a risk area.

We remind you of everything before travel so you don’t miss anything.

Yes and they are easy to follow.

On local islands like Rasdhoo and Fuvahmulah:

  • No alcohol sold.
  • Respectful dress outside of beach areas is expected.

You respect. They greet you with a smile. Simple as that.

Tropical climate, warm and stable:

  • Temperature between 27 °C y 32 °C.
  • Water around 28 °C.
  • Very good sea conditions and visibility

April is one of the best times to dive in the Maldives.

If this feels right, let’s take the next step

If, after reading everything, you can picture yourself on the boat, gearing up for the next dive, and thinking “this is exactly how I want to experience the Maldives”… then it’s probably worth a conversation.

Book your call and let’s find out if this trip is right for you.
